Sigo haciéndome eco del trabajo realizado por los compañeros de Orientación Andújar y quiero seguir dando difusión a los trabajos publicados en su blog. Transcribo literalmente l0 último publicado referente a este tema del Síndrome de Asperger. Gracias compañeros por la labor tan importante que están haciendo a todas las Comunidades Educativas.

» El síndrome de Asperger (en adelante, SA) es un trastorno del espectro del autismo que implica la alteración cualitativa del desarrollo social y comunicativo, e intereses y conductas restringidos y estereotipados, en personas con relativas buenas capacidades (es decir, sin retraso mental o del lenguaje graves). Descrita originalmente en 1944 por el neuropediatra vienés Hans Asperger, esta condición no fue reconocida por la Psiquiatría oficial hasta cinco décadas después, cuando fue incluida en los dos sistemas de clasificación de los trastornos mentales y del comportamiento que sirven de referencia internacional para los diagnósticos clínicos en todo el mundo: el CIE-10 (OMS, 1992), y el DSM-IV (APA, 1994).»
