s-asperger En nuestros colegios tenemos a este tipo de alumnado. Tienen unas características peculiares que voy a exponerles. La fuente de esta información es de los compañeros de Orientación Andújar. Este es el documento que está publicado en su blog:

«La mayor necesidad de cualquier niño es la necesidad del amor y apoyo incondicional. Los padres lo hacen de manera intuitiva. Nosotros sabemos que el amor incondicional es la fuerza más poderosa de la tierra. Cuando un niño se siente seguro, querido y aceptado tal y cómo es, esto le permite progresar adecuadamente en cualquier área de su vida. De acuerdo que nuestra tarea cómo padres no es sólo quererles, pero estoy segura de que en el fondo ellos saben que son queridos. Esta es la base sobre la que intentamos construir toda nuestra educación.

Con un niño Síndrome de Asperger  esto puede ser muy difícil. Hay muchos motivos para esto. Por ejemplo, él tiende a tener una autoimagen poco realista, sufre mucha ansiedad; tiene muchos problemas sociales, es difícil de motivar y su comportamiento puede ser muy difícil de manejar. Todo esto le causa problemas extremos para relacionarse con el mundo. Pero eso significa que él, aún más, necesita oír de padres, alto y claro, el mensaje que le dice: “Nunca vamos a dejar de quererte”.
